Buyer Beware: Aaron Grant will take your money and run.

Aaron Grant (real name Aaron Hathaway) is running a Shopify 'automation' scam through his company, Venture Ecom.

Aaron and his team are taking upwards of $10,000 per client for 'investments' into Shopify brands promising thousands of dollars in passive profits to those who fall into this trap.

Through his social media following (@aarongrants on TikTok and @aarongrant on Instagram), he has left quite a trail of people wondering where their investments went.

Here are a few excerpts from his client chats. Quick to grab, slow to respond. A trademark of internet scammers. He'll be your buddy until you realize nothing is happening, and then the responses will slow down until you threaten legal action.

Not only will he lose you money on your account because he's not watching margins, they are shipping low quality items from China which take 30-45 days to ship. They consistently advertise 2-3 day shipping on TikTok ads and on their product websites, which is F-R-A-U-D.

Flashing cash is the way to scam:

The latest trend amongst young influencer wannabe's is to show that you have the money, to get more people to give you money. They build up a following on social media through paid advertising, then get someone to give them cash for a service they have some knowledge about.

Cash received is then spent on jewelry, exotic car rentals, and private jet charters to build their "proof of concept" to show their followers they are clearly doing something right. Rinse and repeat this process until you build up enough cash to protect yourself against lawsuits. Just go ahead and google Kevin David for another example of these e-commerce frauds.
